PRIVATE LESSONS
Private music lessons have begun in earnest. The timetable will be emailed to you when lesson times have stabilised. At present students should know their time and we will be re-negotiating this if it is unsuitable.
CHOIRS
This year there will be a Primary Proms Choir in Year 3. Students will be selected towards the end of the term. Unfortunately, the Year 4 choir was not granted a spot this year, which happens from time to time to give other schools a turn.
There will also be a Year 5/6 Choir performing in the ArtsNorth Festival at the Opera House for senior students. This will be advertised soon. Rehearsals will be on Thursday morning and the choir will be a Rock Choir with the ArtsNorth Festival repertoire added on.
DANCE GROUP
Dance Group has begun and they are rehearsing with Debbie White on Tuesday mornings from 8.00 am. Please make sure you attend next week if you missed this week.
Students who miss more than one rehearsal in any of our Performance Groups will receive a phone call from a Parent or Teacher Coordinator as a courtesy. Strong and steady attendance is a requirement in these groups.
DANCE FLAGS
I have some material in beautiful bright colours that requires straight sewing on two edges to make a set of flags for movement and dance. The flags are 30cm wide and about a metre long. If you can assist we would be over the moon to have these for dance activities and performances. The children will love them.
